    unreliable connection

i had a lovely stay in cambridge, and this place exceeded my expectations. my large single room was clean and comfortable, while the location made it easy to explore the city. i particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast, which made for a nice touch.

wi-fi was very slow and unreliable.

I truly appreciated the hotel's charming traditional decor and lovely atmosphere. Accessibility throughout the property seemed adequate for seniors, making it a comfortable experience while enjoying the picturesque views of the river and surrounding gardens.

Location near the River Cam provides easy access to the city center, perfect for leisurely strolls. Free parking option available for direct bookings, which is a huge bonus in a city with tight restrictions on parking.

Decor throughout feels outdated and could use a refresh. it leaves an impression of weariness. The heating system seems inconsistent, with some rooms getting too hot while others feel chilly. Internet connection unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. Limited breakfast choices, with the coffee served in flasks lacking the freshness of a brewed cup. Steep, narrow stairs to navigate can be challenging for those with luggage.

    great location
    friendly staff
    delicious breakfast
    small shower

Had a great time with friends exploring the Cambridge Folk Festival and enjoying punting on the River Cam. The breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for reaching main attractions. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The only downside was that the shower was quite small, which was a bit inconvenient, but it didn't ruin our experience.

    good location
    friendly staff
    cozy room
    uncomfortable beds
    lack of transparency

i had a cozy stay for one night at arundel house hotel, the location was good, just a short walk to the city! the breakfast staff were super friendly, and the early check in was really helpful. my room was nice and spacious, a large single room that made me feel comfy.

but the beds were kinda uncomfortable and there was a little dust in my room. also, i wished the parking fees were clearer, felt a bit sneaky.

    central location
    variety breakfast
    worn room
    mouldy shower
    lack of lift

The central location made it easy to explore local attractions, and the continental breakfast offered a good variety. the standard of the room was disappointing. it was worn and unclean with visible mould in the shower and stained bedding. the lack of a lift made accessing the higher floors more difficult.

The Arundel House Hotel has a charming location by the River Cam, making it easy to explore Cambridge. the decor felt dated, and the room lacked proper cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. Parking fees apply if not booked directly, which added to the overall cost.

Cozy stay with a fab breakfast

We had such a lovely time! Super location – easy to walk around and see everything. Parking was a major bonus. The hosts really made us feel at home, and the breakfast was on another level with artisan croissants and homemade jams. Just wish the communal areas were a little fresher.

    Ideal for Cambridge explorers

I spent 2 nights in a cozy single room and loved how close it was to the University and city center. The breakfast was solid, and I enjoyed the restaurant in the evenings. Just a heads up, the check-in process took a while, so be prepared for that. a comfy spot for exploring!

    poor wi-fi

The room fell short of expectations and did not match our reservation, which was an inconvenience. The absence of air conditioning made it less comfortable, particularly with noise from outside chiller units keeping the window closed ineffective. Wi-Fi was unreliable, making tasks frustrating during our stay, and the breakfast variety felt overly limited given the location's competition.
